Coaching Tennis can be demanding, and requires an in depth understanding not only of the game, but how to create the right learning conditions for your players.

One of the problems facing Tennis players who are training to become coaches, and who have achieved high standards in competition, or are enthusiastic Club or Junior players, is finding effective ways to transfer their knowledge, ability and skillset to their player pupils.

Coaches need to work with players ranging from those who have no experience of the game, or are returning to Tennis after a long period, as well as experienced competitors seeking new ideas and keen to improve.

Playing Tennis to a good standard does not always result in the straightforward transfer of those skills on the coaching court.

Our Coach Support and mentoring service will share experience, knowledge and expertise gained in over 20 years on court, together with guidance to help coaches achieve their personal and professional goals.

Tailored support and mentorship to empower clients to overcome challenges and reach their full potential. A focus on holistic development, our service aims to enhance self-awareness and resilience.

The Coach Support programme, based on experience, is designed to develop the skillset of new coaches, enabling them to deliver Tennis to players across the age groups; to a high standard and in a dynamic and effective way, with a package specifically aimed at candidates undertaking the coaching pathway from Level 1 and 2, through to Level 3.

Much like Tennis as a game, it takes time to acquire the in depth knowledge, judgement and skills to develop players across all age groups and abilities. The course content covers the essentials which every coach will need, and builds knowledge across all the key elements for success.
